Cartographies and dialogues about creative labs for young people

A project from the Groupe de travail Quebec-Jalisco, project partially funded by the ministère des Relations internationales et de la Francophonie du Québec and the Concordia University Research Chair in Maker Culture.

When? On September 3rd (Concordia University, 1515, boulevard de Maisonneuve West, Montréal, Québec, Canada) and 6th (UQAR – Campus de Lévis, 1595, boulevard Alphonse-Desjardins, Lévis (Québec) G6V 0A6 Canada) 2019.

Where? An International Seminar will be held at both at Concordia University and at Université du Québec à Rimouski (UQAR), Campus Lévis.

This seminar is intended for both researchers and students from the 4 universities involved in the project : UQAR, Universidad de Guadalajara, Concordia University, ITESO.

This seminar has two objectives:
1) Networking: participants will be given the opportunity to present, discuss, and receive feedback on their research in an interdisciplinary and supportive atmosphere, as well as build their professional network with leading researchers.
2) Build new collaborations : share observations and discoveries about the project Cartographies and dialogues about creative labs for young people.

Call for participation

Students who want to submit their application must submit a description of their project (about 300 words) and their interest in collaborating on the project of the Quebec-Jalisco Working Group (about 200 words) in English or French before 19-jul-2019 to :
